Our Sports Outreaches Are Complete!

We have completed the outreach in the capital city of Ulaanbaatar. It went really well, praise God! Yesterday, we came inside from the outdoor field to have lunch and share the gospel. Stephen Corona and Ben Ford shared testimonies, our team performed a drama (together with some Mongolian Christians), and I shared a testimony. Then, members of Pastor Baataraa's team discussed the gospel in groups with the young adults. As a result, eleven Mongolian young people prayed to put their faith in Christ. Added to the eighteen in Baganuur, we have seen 29 people respond to the gospel! Pastor Baataraa and his team are very encouraged by these results. Local churches have everyone's contact information and will follow up with the new believers to disciple them. We had a scare when a member of Pastor Baataraa's team had a seizure while playing Ultimate Frisbee yesterday. She had what seemed to be a mild collision with two other players, but fell to the ground and started seizing. She is a wonderful Christian young woman named Zulaa. Thankfully, paramedics arrived quickly and said the symptoms were likely from sudden swelling of blood vessels that bring oxygen to her brain. They believed she was fine, and a later CT scan confirmed it. We were very relieved!

Today, we head to the national park where we will stay at a retreat center. We will help to put on a church camp there, running VBS, ministry to teens, and small group discussions. I will deliver three messages.
