This document has been prepared by the Bouquet Canyon Church Care Ministry to help community members find resources in times of need.   Each of the links contained in this document are links to existing support resources and may change from time to time.   Many of the webpages linked include additional external resources that may be helpful to you.   This document will be updated from time to time.  Bouquet Canyon Church is not responsible for accuracy or quality of these services.

Food Help

Santa Clarita Valley Food Pantry 661 255-5001 Short term food assistance for people employed or unemployed who cannot support all of their basic needs.  No cost.

CalFresh (formerly known as Food Stamps) improves people's nutrition in low-income households by increasing their food-buying power so that they can purchase sufficient food to meet their household's needs.  If you are eligible, you will receive a EBT debit card which you can use confidentially at participating grocery stores or order food online for pick up or delivery.

SCV Senior Shared Living is a free housing referral service.   It connects women age 55+ with other female adults.   Those with rooms to rent in their homes can find women who are seeking affordable housing for financial resons, fear of isolations, potential homelessness or other reasons.

Medi-Cal is the name for the Federal Medicaid Program in California.  Dial 211 or go to

If you have limited income and resources, the provides COBRA   If you have recently lost employer sponsored medical, dental, or vision benefits due to a job loss, divorce, or loss of eligibility, you may be eligible to continue that coverage through COBRA.   To find out more, contact your employer’s Human Resources office.

Seniors

The SCV Senior Center provides services that improve the quality of life for seniors, including meals, exercise classes, activites, adult day care (for adults with dementia, post stroke, or other conditions that require assistance and supervision).  The center also provides support and education for caregivers.
