Deacon Positions for 2026

 

BCC's Nominating Committee will soon be working to fill five deacon positions for the next term beginning in 2026. Here is a description of these ministries:

Care Ministries - Helps those in need in both our church and wider community (currently led by Sonja Wendt).
 

Outreach Ministries - Provides our church family with training and opportunities in evangelism (currently led by Jim Georgeson)

 

Treasurer - Oversees the financial operations of the church (currently led by Joseph Robinson)

 

Family Life - Oversees events that bring the church family together for fellowship (currently led by Denise Ford)

​

Connecting Ministries - Helps new people connect to the church family (currently led by Louise Rosati)

 

To be elected as a deacon, one must:

- be a member of BCC in good standing,

- have been attending BCC regularly for at least one year,

- be 21 years of age or older, and

- reflect the qualities described in Acts 6:3 and 1 Timothy 3:8-12

Candidates for these positions should have some leadership ability, as they will oversee a ministry team.

We ask you to pray that God would raise up the right people for these ministry positions.
